GMP-Facility and Manufacturing Excellence

The extensive experience with GMP manufacturing and application of cell and protein therapeutics has enabled the company to build up a broad product portfolio. CellGenix operates a state-of-the-art GMP facility for cell processing and GMP production of recombinant biopharmaceuticals in Freiburg, Germany. In 1995, the first European GMP cell processing facility was established by CellGenix. Since 2001, with the expansion of our office and production complex near Freiburg airport, we have a technologically highly-advanced GMP facility for the processing of cells and manufacturing of protein therapeutics at our disposal.

CellGenix and Metreon have obtained GMP manufacturing authorizations from the German regulatory authorities for recombinant tumor vaccines, as well as for the processing of different cell types, including hematopoietic stem cells, chondrocytes, T-cells, and dendritic cells (DCs). The same stringent quality criteria are used to manufacture our recombinant CellGro^® GMP Cytokines.
