Dr. Stefan Thoma

Stefan Thoma joined CellGenix in 2000 and held various positions (QC, QP, GMP consulting) in cell processing. As Director of Quality Management he is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of quality policies and addressing regulatory requirements in an effective and timely manner.

Educated in biology at the Universities of Ulm, Germany and Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand, Dr. Thoma graduated in experimental hematology at the University of Ulm on funtional and molecular characterisation of hematopoietic stem cells.

In 1996, he continued his research activities as a postgraduate in Regensburg and in 1998 he joined the Institute of Biotechnology as senior scientist for stem cell expansion at the Research Centre in Jülich.
