CellGenix Technologie Transfer GmbH is an innovative biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Freiburg, Germany. CellGenix, which was founded in 1994 as a spin-off of the University Medical Center Freiburg, currently has more than 50 employees. CellGenix develops, manufactures and markets cell and protein therapeutics for cancer and orthopedic patients, as well as high-quality reagents for therapeutic ex vivo cell processing. The company owns Metreon Bioproducts GmbH, which was founded in 1996 and which is specialized on cell processing. CellGenix also owns shares in American Fluoroseal Cooperation (Afc) in Gaithersburg, Maryland (USA), and in CellPrep S.A. in Buenos Aires (Argentina).
