Bioprocessing Containers
Closed and Sterile – The way to go
CellGenix` high-quality reagents are complemented by a collection of fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) cell culture systems (VueLife®) and cryopreservation bags (Kryosure®) developed and manufactured by our partner American Fluoroseal Corporation, AfC in Gaithersburg, USA.
FEP Bioprocessing containers (VueLife®, KryoSure®) offer unique properties and benefits not found in other standard culture systems.
They are manufactured by the American Fluoroseal Corporation (AFC) and distributed by CellGenix outside the USA. AfC Bioprocessing containers consist of the VueLife® Cell Culture and KryoSure® Freezin Bags. For cell culture and cryopreservation the material fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) offers optimal conditions and characteristics. All AfC bags are manufactured under GMP.
The FEP material is inert, flexible, transparent and durable making it ideally-suited for demanding cell processing applications. Cell cultures transpire through the bag walls within a closed system. When immersed in liquid nitrogen for cryopreservation, the bags remain intact, flexible and optically clear.
FEP is extremely durable as a non-immunogenic cryopreservation container for stem cells, cancer vaccines, and human organs and tissues.
Afc uses patented laser welding technology to manufacture optically clear plastic containers in more than 200 shapes and sizes from one milliliter to 10 liters. These containers are bags and pouches for cell culture and cryopreservation for research and clinical applications.
